This Privacy Policy may be amended, modified or supplemented from time to time, and applies to all visitors (such persons collectively referred to as “you”) accessing and/or using the CCPay website (hereinafter also referred to as “ccpay.com.sg”) and its related platforms. The following privacy statement explains the nature, the scope and the purposes of collecting, processing and using personal data and other confidential information by CC Financial Services Pte. Ltd. ( “CCPay”, “we” or “us”) on our website and platforms. The following Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Terms of Use you are to agree to it when registering with CCPay. If there are differences between this Privacy Policy and the terms of any agreements concluded between the client and ccpay.com.sg, the terms of such agreements shall prevail.
1. Personal data and its usage
Personal data is the specific information about the personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. These include the name, the e-mail address or the phone number, or any other data provided by any person during application to use our website and sub-pages. As part of ccpay.com.sg, personal data is only collected, processed and used where applicable and as permitted by law, or where you have given consent. 2. Cookies
Visiting our website ccpay.com.sg results in the storage of cookies on your browser. Cookies are text files that help to facilitate CCPay, by storing login data or registering when and how frequently you visit our website. The storing of cookies can be disabled completely in all major browsers.
3. Establishing contact with us and with other customers
CCPay enables you to establish contact with us. This is possible, for example, by sending an email to us, or any message via the permitted message service (according to the Terms and Conditions). The information you provide when contacting us is stored to process the request and, where appropriate, for the subsequent correspondence.
We do not disclose your personal information to any other CCPay customer unless it is necessary. You agree that, in the course of generating and managing your CCPay account and operating our platforms, it may be required to send to Merchant(s) and their assignee(s), or other consumers (s), as the case may be, certain transactional information (for example, a unique identifier, a transaction amount and repayment details etc), but not your full name, postcode address, or payment details, until the transaction is duly closed. We will not be liable for any use or misuse of the transactional data by others, but you must inform us of any misuse of the CCPay’s services of which you are aware.
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other CCPay users or customers. We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other users.
4. Registration function
When you register on our website, as a user of our services, the data received will be used in the operation of our CCPay service, as well as to inform you about changes in the scope of our CCPay services, or any technical changes or for other messages (via email). Registration includes the entry of the following data:
- email address;
- password;
AML/KYC Policy information and documents can be requested during and after the registration, such as Gender, First name, Last name, Address, ID document etc. See AML/KYC Policy for more information.
Besides, the IP address that was used for registration, as well as the date of the registration, are stored to prevent abuse of the registration. Additional information from your social networks profiles (profile’s id, name, surname, other data according to terms and conditions of social networks) may also be collected during registration. You agree to the processing of your social networks information during registration.
In addition to entered personal data, data is collected by us, and by third parties, automatically during the use of CCPay’s services. The use of our service includes interacting with third parties.
1. Access data/server log files
Details of your visit to our site are stored in a log file (the so-called server log file). We collect (or our internet provider servers) the following data on each access to our CCPay website and platforms:
- The IP address of the accessing computer;
- name of the file requested;
- date and time of the request;
- amount of data transmitted;
- notification of successful request;
- browser type and version along with the operating system used;
- referrer URL;
- requesting Provider;
- screen resolution.
The log data is used by us only for statistical analysis in the context of the operation of CCPay website and platforms. In case of illegal use of our service, the log data also serves to inform a resolution in the eventuality of any violation of the law.
2. Liability for links
CCPay website or platforms may contain links to websites of external providers. The referred domains were checked at the time of the placement of the link. Their content is not and will not become part of the services offered by CCPay. We are not liable for any offers or services provided by such links.
To a reasonable extent, you can demand to be informed by us about which personal data we have stored concerning yourself, free of charge via an email request.
You have the right to ask for the review and update of your data if you cannot do so yourself. You can also have your data blocked and deleted if you revoke your permission (via special message) for storage, or when the storage of the data is no longer possible due to legal reasons.
There are some messages (“Service Messages”) that we will need to send to you. These may be sent via email, post or text message (according to the addresses and directions provided by you during registration), and include notifications about your payment, applications, repayments or balance if you are a user of our services, updates and other related information regarding the usage of our services. We may also send to you, from time to time, advertisements and other relevant information about our services, or the services of our partners.
We may monitor, record, store and use any telephone, email or other communication with you to check any instructions given to us, for instructional purposes, for crime prevention, and to improve the quality of our customer service.
By registering as a user of CCPay, you consent to the terms of the Privacy Policy without any exclusions or reservations.
